Did you ever try to whisper to them? for some reason it seems to work at times..but not all the time...Kids are curious by nature and sometimes when you start whipering they want to know what you are talking about and they sometimes stop to listen what you are saying ,not all the time though,,If they are having a temper tantrum,,just walk away or at least let them think it doesn't bother you....They are doing it for total attention and if you don't give it too them they scream louder..sned them to their rooms or just walk away or put ear phones on or act like they aren't there they eventually give up ..But if you react and yell at them or let them know you are upset,,,They have the power over you and will keep it up longer....But if they are ill or hurting,,,You have to address the problem...Most parents at least can distinguish the different kind of crys ...I know I raised 4 kids and I tried my best to NOT let them be the boss EVER! GOOD LUCK!!!
