he was in the water and it dried up because of global warming. GLOBAL WARMING I S GONNA KILL US ALL!!!!!!!!
I'm going to say, a tornado that tore up the forest, picked-up a tree, threw it into a body of water where someone was scuba-diving. The tree sank down on top of his head, killing him.
was there an earthquake and he fell through?

The diver got scooped up from the sea where he was scuba diving,then the helicopter dumped the sea water on the forest fire...

the man was scuba diving in the sea and there was this fairy tail whale who drank all the water and a monster destroyed all the trees between the sea. they were so busy destroying every thing that they didn't notice the the diver holding on to a tree. and when the story ended the whale and the monster vanished left the diver hanging on to the tree.
The forest got torn apart by fire....a forest fire. Then, the people got the water from the sea where the diver was suba diving. They accidently scooped him out of the water and dumped him on the forest too. That is why he landed on top of the tree...
