well i think this is a trick question,and if i remember right,gold is weighed in a different system of measurements,so im going to opt for feathers.
edit: pretty sure im right ,gold was or is weighed in the old troy system,ive heard the ones what weighs most feathers or coal etc,but this has an edge and im sure im right.

If you're speaking literally and gravity is not factored in, they would weigh the same. However the phrase "pulling ones weight" can be interpreted as one being useful, so in that scenario the gold would definitely weigh more.
