Did you know that General Robert E. Lee, never really surrendered, because?!
Question: U.S Grant was an excellent sword and knife sharpener and Lee just gave him the sword to sharpen. He wasn't really surrendering. (OKAY, now everybody groan.)
I got this chuckle from Grannie of "The Beverly Hillbillies".
And being from the South, I just had to share this "chuckle" with you.

OMG, I thot you were fer real and not just funnin!! And did you know Robert E Lee was voted most likely to secede? ha ha.
wow! didn't make me have a seizure but it was funny enough lol thank you for brightening my day!
Granny was hilarious!
I also love the sequence of shows when Jethro was a double knot spy and a playboy. When they went to England was cool also but the black and white episodes were the best.
If the sword had belonged to my great-great- grand farther, William O. Butler the sword had been engraved on each side of 2 battles he had fought in, and U.S. Grant couldn't have keep it! But this was a good story I liked it a lot!
that's a good one, keep going
*Rimshot*
