The Unsolvable Riddle?!

Question: You stand at a fork in the road. Next to each of the two forks, there stands a guard. You know the following things: 1. One path leads to Paradise, the other to Death. From where you stand, you cannot distinguish between the two paths. Worse, once you start down a path, you cannot turn back. 2. One of the two guards always tells the truth. The other guard always lies. Unfortunately, it is impossible for you to distinguish between the two guards.
You have permission to ask one guard one question to ascertain which path leads to Paradise. Remember that you do not know which guard you're asking -- the truth-teller or the liar -- and that this single question determines whether you live or die. The question is: What one question asked of one guard guarantees that you are led onto the path to Paradise, regardless of which guard you happen to ask?

wow. i would have to say...

ask either brother which path the other would say and then take the opposite one. the brother who lies will know his brother would say the right path so will lie and tell you the wrong path. the brother who tells the truth knows his brother will lie so also tells you the wrong path

"If I asked the other guard, which door would he indicate
leads to Paradise?" Take the door opposite to what's indicated!
Regardless of whom you ask, they'll point to the wrong door.

Ask both guards "If I ask the other guard which road leads to Paradise, what will he say?"

I remember hearing the riddle before, i just forgot the answer.
this riddle is killing me.

you have to go with ur guts

don't ask no one that way there's no one to blam pic the way that looks like it most appealing to you and just go

do u tell the truth?

hey thats from the labyrinth movie!!! u ask one of them which one the other one would tell u to take.

umm wow thats hard
i would ask one and iddno
can u tel us the answer later cause thats hard!

What's my name?
The guard at paradise always answers truth and the other always lies, you know your own name. So it doesn't matter which one you ask, because you already know the answer.

Ask either one of them something obvious such as, "Can you here me?" or "Am i talking to you?"

If it is that both guards know which path is right then I would ask one of them to walk with me down one path (i assume neither would want to die). If they refuse then I will know that at the end lies death not paradise and if the guard says yes then I have company on the way to paradise.

Ask either one,If they will they take this road with you?

I would ask "are you a guard"? This answer is right, because I have heard this riddle before.

1)I am go an ask from guard A.Where to paradise? He said Path X.

2)Next I am go and ask this question from guard B.If I ask where to paradise from guard A what will be his answer(I ask from guard B)?
If he said X.I pick the path Y.(Because guard B tell the truth in this case)

and

If he said Y.I get the path X(Guard tell the lie)

if you ask this question that what road the other guard will point to if i ask him for the road to paradise, the answer will be the same.
th guard who speaks the truth knows the other will lie so he will show you the path to death
if the guard speaks lies he knows that the other guard will show the correct path but as he is a liar he will show the path to death so any way you can get the correct path ie the other road..

Its just like Labryinth......my fav movie of all time

umm i would back up

I will ask Guard A to tell me which path Guard B will show me to take me to Paradise. If A is the habitual liar, he cannot show the path that B will indicate for he cannpot speak the truth. In other words he will show the wrong path, the path that B will NOT indicate. If on the other hand A is the truthful one, he will correctly indicate which path B the habitual liar will show and it will be the wrong path. Thus the path that will be shown will be the wrong one in either case. I will take the other path to go to Paradise.

Which path would the other gaurd tell me is the path to death

Then make sure you take that path

Ask what door would the other guard choose.

Ask "How Many Guards are Here?" and go in if he saids 2.
