a flam seriously i **** you not its called a flam. a rimshot is wher you hit the snare both on the batter head and also on the rim to give the note a hollow ringing sound. a flam is three tom notes and a bass drum note played in a linear succession ie ba ba ba dum and played quickly. its a flam. oh yeah and it wasnt me with the thumbs down i promise and its still a bl0ody flam lol its one of the many rudiments of drumming.
