egg because it has to be born from somewere a chicken just dosent pop out of nowere.

That depends on what you belief in.
If you believe in God and creation.. I would assume that the chicken came first, so that the mother could lay and hatch the eggs.
If you believe more in evolution that creation, the egg undoubtedly came first, as there are far more primitive species than chickens that lay eggs.
Hmmph.
Obviously the chicken, if the egg came first how would the species even have survived? I mean, how would they know how to eat, avoid predators, ect. if they had no parents to help before the instincts kicked in! (LOL) ^_^
hmmm, if i remeber this correctly, just kiddin here folks, but if evelotion was correct, the it was the hydropnic chicken, dont need the eggs, they just poped out of the water from chicken seeds produced by random spores and then when they washed ashore they did not live too long. they are not that smart. so they became dhydrated chikens. since there where predators, the chickens came on land developed camoflauge, so when they dried they looked like white rocks, or eggs. so when it rained or flooded the eggs came back as chickens....hehehe sorry folks i stayed upt to late to answer this one
