oh yeah, there is this "happy" silly feeling when everything is funny and you are in a great mood thanks to alcohol consumption.
this of course is a few hours before the stomach ache and headache and nausea set in the next day.
let's not forget the "what was i thinking?" questions that go through your head the day after over-indulging.
but yeah, if there were no consequences, it would be much more fun.
