A cloud is my mother,the wind is my father,my son is a cool stream,and my daughter is the fruit of the land,a rainbow is my bed,the earth my final resting place , and I'm the torment of man .

Ok, I'm gonna take severeal guesses:
1) Rain? Because your mom is the cloud, and she gave you birth so you come out from under her like rain? And your dad is the stream because that's where all the rain comes from when it evaporates into the sky. Also, after your done drippping, the rainbow comes out when you go away (go to bed)
2)Sun? Because the cloud(mom) is always nearby and wwhen you set (sunset), it looks like you're settling on the land.

The butterfly whispers in timidly and offers this pearl of wisdom with some uncertainty...but it made sense...
Rain comes from clouds and builds streams and other bodies of waters....the daughter threw me...but I thought of mother nature and how the rain makes everything grow...it falls to earth its final resting place there is always a rainbow and it can certainly torment the best of us in moments of sheeting ferocity....but I'm unsure. I feel like I'm missing something important. Still it's the only thing that makes sense to me....how'd I do sis???
