Say.......
You: "Actually I am kind of busy right now, how about if you give me your home address?"
Solicitor: "I don't like being bothered at home"
You: "Oh, you don't like being bothered at home, well now you know how I feel."
*SLAM*
Do the same thing if the person is on the phone, except change the words up a bit you know, you get my drift eh?
I make him sit on a whoopee cushion.
I have a doormat that says "Go Away". It's not really a joke...and it hasn't actually deferred any soliciting...
Find a Soundboard on the net, memorize it and play it inter-actively.
We've done this before and cried laughing!!!
If they ask for money, tell them your spouse just lost their job and they feel sorry for you. Harmless stuff.
I know people who have done some really mean things but I won't share that.
ask them how they smell, my little sister did this and the soliciter lady went along with it and said she smelt like roses :) haha
another funny thing to do is try to have a conversation with them and come on to them
Just say " wait here until I get my gun"
first act interested in what they have to say. then ask "hey, would you be interested in buying an insurance?" be pushy and aggressive. hand over some brochures, insurance rates & packages... and keep on talking
i would throw dog food on em and have
the neihbors dogs chase him away!....might not work though.
i would get a sticky-note and write kick me.
