Nice, where do you get these? I am sure you don't make them up.

Anyway after reading the above answers i realized I would say the same thing as Bubbly and Chris_z so I don't see the point of wasting my time writing a lengthy answer. Anyway I'll give you a star because I enjoy your questions.

Why do you say an alarm clock goes off when it rings? ...

interesting

jumbo shrimp?

These are very interesting and funny questions. :) You deserve a star!

Put down that 5th grader's joke book and slowly back away.

Ladybugs can be male.

Yes because it's AM somewhere.

Americans. "Go get the fine Americans from the dining room, sweety!" That'd be a fun conversation.

Because he breaks the stocks for everyone but you!

Sometimes the second hand doesn't exist, like a third wheel - third hand. :]

Because we all jam ourselves in the cars and streets at once. If we didn't then it wouldn't be as rush-full, and cars would go faster. Let's think... hm.

1) Lady( not male)
2) AM is frequency, not referring to A.M./ P.M.
3) China is not where they are from, but what they are. Do french fries come from France?
4) His title, doesn't mean he will make you broke.
5) Second not referring to place, but the fact that it counts "Seconds"
6) Rush hour not speed, but telling that there is the most traffic on the roads at that time.
* The title broker comes from Middle english, Brocour, meaing a ceremonial gift at the conclusion of a business deal. A Broker conclude a business deal.

1) "Male Ladybug"
2) Yes of course. AM (time) stands for ante-meridiem, AM (radio) stands for Amplitude Modulation
3) Porcelain china is called 瓷 cí or 陶瓷 táocí in Chinese, I think it stands for ceramics
4) The origin of "broker" is not known. Some ideas are it seems to come through a word meaning a gift made at the conclusion of a business deal, from an Arabic word for blessing, "barka" or "baraka." Or possible a wine broker would break down cases of wine (a business deal) thus, a broker title was born.
5) I think it's actually called the hour hand
6) Just a case of irony. Everyone is either going to work or coming back from work at roughly the same time
