Did you ever see punch and Judy as a child? at the seaside ,or the laughing poli!
Question: I certainly remember seeing Punch and Judy shows as a child....but it probably wasn't at the seaside. And I do have a recording of Charles Penrose singing "The Laughing Policeman" on an HMV CD of "Children's Classics"....I am sure I remember hearing it a few times as a child in the 1980s....although I know it goes back a lot further than that.

I've seen Punch and Judy shows many times, at the seaside and in the park in London. The only time I've seen a laughing policemen is when I told them I was only doing 29mph.
