But did yoiu know that the saying "Blue Blood" refering to the British aristocracy comes from the fact that the upper class would traditionally use silver cutlery, whilst the working class used cheaper metal. The seepage of silver would cause their blood to take on a blue colour, and therefore those "born with a silver spoon in their mouth" were actually slowly being poisoned, which might explain some of the erratic and kinky behaviour that they have exhibitted through the centuries.
