I just restrung my guitar and my bridge is lifted what do i do?!

Question: Ok, i just restrung my guitar and i think i have run into a problem. After putting the new strings on i noticed that the bridge is lifted up higher than it ever has been. I asked my friend what the problem was and he said that i just need to let the guitar sit and let the strings stretch, so i did. It still was not fixed and im not to sure what is wrong with it. My guitar is a Fender Squire Strat if any of you need to know. Please if you know why the bridge is lifted like this tell me what is causing it and what i have to do to fix it. Thank You.

First of all, your in the jokes and riddle section not the music instrument section, but I'm a nice guy, so I'll try to help you out. When you let your guitar sit, make sure the strings are a little loose, not tight because it will warp the neck of the guitar if you leave it like that causing the bridge to rise to compensate the strain. Take your guitar to any guitar or music store or to a guitar expert and have them look at it, but assuming you didn't do any major work on your guitar recently, I can safely say, it's something very simple that can be adjusted (ask them to show you how to adjust the bridge properly when adding strings).

i have one of those and so much **** gets ****** up with them it sucks
but they should have comme with a adjuster little tool thing that kind of looks like a L shape
you can usde this to adjust the bridge.

Not a genius on guitars. but Im guessing re-asking the question in guitar category or music category so a guitar whizz can answer it;
