How much for a rib??!
Question: One day in the Garden of Eden, Adam asked God if he could speak to him. God grants him his wish. Adam says to God, "I hate to complain as I know I have this whole garden to myself and it's beautiful and all, food is plenty and lots of animals to play with, but I'm lonely."
God asked Adam what would ease his loneliness. He says, "I think I would like a companion." But God tells him there would be a price to pay for a companion. God asks Adam what he would like from his companion.
Adam says, "I'd like her to cook for me, clean up after me, have my children and raise them for me, bathe me when I'm dirty, and wait on me hand and foot." God tells him for that he would have to give an arm and a leg. Adam thinks about it and asks God, "What can I get for a rib?"
And the rest is history...
