Question: Do you believe I can show you 1 + 1 = 3!?
Everything I will say will be a true statement except for 1 + 1 + 3!.

I have 2 hands
count them one two
My left hand is my first hand so I will hold up one finger to show it is my first hand!.
1 finger!.
My right hand is my second hand so I will hold up 2 fingers to show it is my 2nd hand!.
2 fingers!.
Now count my fingers on each hand!.
Each hand is still just one hand!.
left hand = 1
right hand = 2
1 + 1 = 3!.
