Question: Maths poser from a mate!?!?!?!?!?
I got this earlier today from a mate of mine, and between me and my hubby we just cant work it out!.
7 girls are on a bus
each girl has 7 backpacks
in each backpack there are 7 big cats
and for each big cat there are 7 small cats
How many legs are on the bus!?
(The bus has no legs and dont count the driver)

Answers:
7 girls = 14 legs
7 x packs = 7 x 49 big cats = 343 x 4 = 1372 legs
343 big cats x 7 small cats = 2401 small cats = 2401 x 4 = 9604 legs
Total = 14 + 1372 + 9604 = 10,990 legs
EDIT: This has been asked quite a few times before and the answer is either 10,990 or 10,992 if you inlcude the driver!.
EDIT Rolyn Eto: Its also easy if you don;t read that each girl has 7 backpacks, each with 7 big cats and make a complete mess of the answer!.
EDIT2 Rolyn Eto: Don;t think we can't see you changing your answer! Now you;ve got the small cats with only 2 legs!. Change it to 4 and you'll see that 10,990 is correct and that you shouldn't have given the thumbs down!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have to say 70 legs!.
There are 7 girls and each has 2 legs
7x2=14
There are 7 big cats and 7 small cats
and each has 4 legs
(add the 7 big cats and 7 small cats together to get 14)
14x4=56
Now add 14+56=70
