The time is 7:13am!. A boat is in the dock and has a ladder coming down from it!. The ladder has 30 steps on it with a 10cm gap between each one!. The water level is just above the 7th step ( counting from the sea ) The tide comes in at 7:24am and with every 2!.5 minutes the water level rises by 1!.5cm!. If it is in dry-dock, the water level won't effect the boat as it is behind lock-gates!. Even if it is a wet dock, the speed at which the water level rises is so slow, the tide might go out again before it has a chance to reach the top step!.
