Simple!. It's a (relatively) mild form of torture, making the victim very uncomfortable and also giving him or her a headache in some cases!. Further, it's difficult for them to see much else when their eyes are open - and obviously impossible should they close their eyes!. This makes interrogators effectively invisible, and eye-contact impossible - surprisingly intimidating!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

interrogation, the light isnt always used but in movies they do it to put more pressure on!. It makes the person in question not able to see you, puts them in a defensive mode right away, also it is said that the pupil of a liar will flutter or dialate, maybe its to observe that better as well since the light will contract it naturally!. Its mostly to just make things even more unpleasant in my best guess!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It is a mild form of torture!. If you are forced to stare into a bright light you eyes begin to burn and hurt!. This will work even if you close your eyes!. They do this in the movies as an alternative to beating a confession out of you!. Hitting leaves bruises, while the light hurts more over time and does not leave an evidence for a brutality law suitWww@Enter-QA@Com

To blind the suspect!. Makes it harder to see the face of the interogator and bring the suspect by degree to fear or confusion!. It is also discomfort that augments the chances of successful "confession"!.

Or maybe suspects were lured because they were promised a free tan!.!.!. lolWww@Enter-QA@Com

Cause alot cna be revealed by a person's eyes!. Don't you look into someones eyes to find the truth!.

I think because of this psychological phenomenon, they do this in the movies and TV!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The truth is in the eyes!. It's to make the interrogated feel as though the interrogator can see every reaction!. It's intimidating!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

because it makes you nervous and puts you under a lot of pressure until you cant take it any more and you snap and tell the truthWww@Enter-QA@Com

usually when you lie your pupils dilate!. The light sort of makes it easier for the interrogator to notice that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because it is the movies, and doesn't the criminal always confess!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

They want to see how your eyes react when they ask a question
Many people, when they lie, look away to the leftWww@Enter-QA@Com

my moms a doctor and she told me because when u shine a light in somebodies eyes the pupils go small and when the person lies the pupil goes real bid than small againWww@Enter-QA@Com

Psychology!. by blinding the suspect they throw him off and make it impossible for him to think straight!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

because eyes can dialate when people lie!. it's easier to look for microexpressions in the face with lights!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

to try to stress u out and panic u panis so u blurt out the truth without meanging toWww@Enter-QA@Com
