Question: What are the grandsons' ages!?
Two Grannies (who are quite good at math) are sitting on a bench…The first says to the other I have a riddle for you!. I have 3 grandsons and the product of their ages is 36!. also, pointing at a sign in the park, the sum of their ages is the number on that sign!. The second granny looks a bit confused so the first tells her that her eldest grandson has red hair and the second granny then gives the correct answer!.

This is a hard one! Took me about hald an hour! Here's what I came up with:
There are 7 different ways to get a product of 36:
1x18x2 (Sum=21)
9x2x2 (Sum=13)
3x3x4 (Sum=10)
6x2x3 (Sum=11)
1x9x4 (Sum=14)
1x12x3 (Sum=16)
1x6x6 (Sum=13)
If the grandma checked the sign and still didn't know, then the sum must occur twice!. The only sum I got twice was 13!.
The other factor is there is an older child!. 1, 6, and 6 has two older children, so that wouldn't be it!. So, my answer is 9, 2, and 2!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
