How to measure 45 minutes by 2 uneven mosquito coils ?!

Question: How to measure 45 minutes by 2 uneven mosquito coils !?
You have two mosquito coils!. Both burn out in just one hour!. However, because they're handicraft of the craftsman, thickness is not uniform and does not burn at constant speed!. By the way, can you measure 45 minutes using only the mosquito coils and matches!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
You light one at both ends and the other at one!. Then half an hour later when the first coil burns up, the second has 30 minutes left!. So you light it at the other end and it'll be done in 15, which makes a total of 45!.
As long as each coil burns for exactly one hour this should work regardless of fluctuations in the burn rate!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

With a variable burn rate I don't see how you could!. Theoretically 80% of either or both coils could burn in 5 minutes leaving 20% of the coil to burn over a 55 minute time span!. With the variables you list, I don't see any way to approach this unless you just light both coils, note the time on your watch and check it periodically until the 45 minutes have elapsed!.

Of course if you use that method you really don't need the coils for anything but keeping the mosquitos away!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
