Question: The missing $1!?
Three people check into a hotel!. They pay $30 to the manager and go to their room!. The manager suddenly remembers that the room rate is $25 and gives $5 to the bellboy to return to the people!. On the way to the room the bellboy reasons that $5 would be difficult to share among three people so he pockets $2 and gives $1 to each person!. Now each person paid $10 and got back $1!. So they paid $9 each, totalling $27!. The bellboy has $2, totalling $29!. Where is the missing $1!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

it isnt missing!. if they each give ten!.!.!.picture three tens on the counter!. they leave!. the manager takes one of the tens!. and cashes it for two fives!. he keeps one in the register and gives one to the bellboy!. so there are 20 dollars on the counter, and five in the register and five with the bellboy!. he takes two dollars, and gives them each one!. totaling five!. 25 with the manager and five with the bellboy and people equals thirty dollarsWww@Enter-QA@Com
Don't add up what the men THINK they paid - the puzzle tricks you by adding up things that shouldn't be added!. Nobody actually paid $9 each, that was the lie!.
The cost went from $30 to $25, so the men actually paid a total of $25!. Each paid $8!.33!. The $25 they paid, plus the three they got back, plus the two the bellboy kept!. There's no missing dollar!.
