Question: Riddle me this!.!?
A 80 pound kid runs into a castle's treasury and steals 3 ten pound gold balls!. A guard sees him, and starts to chase him!. he runs into a bridge that is very old!. it could only hold about 90 pounds!. how could the boy get across with all 3 gold balls!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Juggling them wouldn't work!.
Even if he carried just 1 gold ball across the bridge, and kept throwing it up, and catching it, whenever he accelerated it upwards his feet would exert a downward force greater than his own weight + the weight of the ball!. The same when he caught it on the way down!. This would alternate with his weighing only 80 pounds, when the ball was in the air!.
The sensible thing for the kid to do is to bribe the "lone" guard with one of the gold balls, in exchange for letting him (the kid) take the other 2 balls across one at a time, and escape!.
As an afterthought!. The guard and the kid would now have something "On" each other, and could systematically "loot" the treasury, to the profit of both, since the guard could have access to the treasury, but could not be suspected of carrying all the loot over a bridge with a 90 pound breaking strain, and the kid could carry the loot but not obtain it!. He would have to be an amazing juggler, because he would have to keep 2 balls in the air at all times!. Can the bridge maybe hold 100 lbs!? Then juggling the golden balls would definitely let him get across, since he would only be holding 2 balls at a time for a net weight of 100 lbs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
