A man walks into a Toronto Bank!. He asks for the loan officer!. He told the loan officer that he's going to his homeland on business for 2 weeks and needs to borrow $5000!. The bank officer tells him that he needs a security form for the loan so the man gave the keys and documents of new Ferrari parked on the other street!. He produces the title and everything checks out!. The loan officer agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan!.
The bank's president and officers enjoyed a good laugh at the man for using a $250000 Ferrari as collateral against a $5000 loan!. An employee drives the car into the bank's garage and parks it!.
2 weeks later, man returns, repays the $5000 and interest which comes to $15!.41!. The loan officer says,"Sir we're happy to have had your business!. This transaction worked out nicely, but we're puzzled!. While you're away, we checked you out and found that you're a multimillionaire!. What puzzles is why would you bother to borrow $5000!?
