because he saw the ice cream truck and had to chase it about 20 blocks already!. unfortunately as it was walking around the truck the ice cream man did not see himso when he started to drive he felt a bump in the road!. but figured it was nothing and kept driving!.!.!. all the little kids seeing that started to cry and never bought ice cream from him again
