Question: Can a guy please put it to me intelligently why "scarface" is idolized by men!?
I finally saw it, it was okay al pacino is classic in it but where I am from I have noticed ALOT of guys, like idolize him, I guess it's a guy thing or I missed the point!? I know he was prisoner of war in cuba I got that but when I talked to my boyfriend, he was like scarface is fearless and what not but personally I thought he sold his soul to devil and when it came time to pay up he decided he had morals!.!. I didn't see it!. I feel kind of bad because when it's brought up as like oh scarface was the man I just don't see it!. we're not gonna agree on every movie but it seems every guy feels the exact same way!.!.!. Ree, being a man for 34+ years, I feel I am qualified to make a statement about this!. Scarface is "idolized" basically because it caters to the male desire for dominance and destruction!. I'm sure you've noticed it, having a boyfriend, that men do like to see things destroyed and will always try to be "king of the hill," or throw a fit if something isn't going right!. (guys, please stop reading now, I am going to give away a secret about us)
Basically, the whole dominance thing has to do with a little bit of an inferiority complex that guys get regarding another psychological experience!.

Destruction is also, as I'm sure someone guessed, the main reason guys like NASCAR!. It's not about seeing who wins, watching a bunch of guys chasing each other around, it's about the distinct possibility that there is going to be a wreck!.
