this sounds weird i know, BUT i need a good kind of funny joke about scissors (that is quick and to the point) for an english assignment!.
we have to advertise them and i want to add a pun or joke!.

"these scissors can also be used to shred paper, render electronic appliances that require cords useless, and dismember the fingers of people you don't like!."
I'll add more if I think of any!.!.!.!.!.!.agh, I'm having a hard time with this!. There are only so many jokes you can make about scissors!.
"!.!.!.!.!.call within the next ten minutes, and we'll give you another half-pair free! That's right you get the pair of scissors AND a dull knife with a weird handle!." (would work best if you actually took a half-pair to show everyone)

A psychopathic prostitute (you might be able to use that somehow depending on the teacher)!.
Example: "Here's a riddle for you: my legs moves close and open, if you give me something to eat i will slash it!. what am I!? A psychopathic prostitute!? No, why, a pair of scissors, of course" (pitch it like a retro advertisement)
