Question: Can an older person please explain to me this 80's joke from a TV show!?
I love the Golden Girls a lot!. Sadly most of their jokes are based on things that were happening in the 80s and 70s!. I saw an episode today and I knew it was funny but I didnt understand why!.
The skit went like this:
(Rose comes out of the bedroom and enters living room, still wearing her pajamas and tells everyone she is tired and doesnt have time to talk because she slept in and she is on her way to work, then a man dorothy was talking to says "your going to work like that" and dorothy says "Shes Gary Hart's campagin manager!. Doesnt pay much but you dont have to get out of bed to do it!."
Now I am only going to assume Gary Hart ran for something and what not!. But what does this joke mean!? Why would she say you dont have to get out of bed to be his campaign manager!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
