Make her a scrap book!. i did that for my uncle and he loved it!. Put pictures of the two of you and the family,stories that bond you two,and tell her how much she means to you!.
Gifts like that are so much better than buying something!. Oh and don't forget the flowers!.!.!.

Well, it kind of depends on how much you want to spend!. A woman of that age probably does not want stuff - she probably has a lot of stuff!
You could get her a special piece of jewelry, like for instance they have those nice grandmother necklaces, with little charms, one for each grandchild!.
If she does not like jewelry, then you could do something like a chore book - where you make coupons to do things for her to redeem, like you mowing her lawn, and washing her car, you get the idea!.

My grandma is over 70 and a widower, I'd get her a companion to play bingo or cards or something with, or even make time to do this with her myself!. Just make sure she isn't feeling alone!. If she has many friends (like mine) then I would (did when my grandma turned 75) get a generations (my was four generations) portrait (air brushed) and give to her!. The artist should be able to airbrush her in if you have a good close up picture of her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I find Grandmas tend to love portraits of their grandkids!. If it's possible, though, you could have an artist paint/sketch the portrait!. It'll make it that much more special!. My mom is sketching a portrait of a friend's grandkids right now, and getting paid for it, so it must be a good idea!. ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well i guess that it depends what she likes but i think when your that age something from the heart is best!.!. All my cousins and i are now in our late teens and early twenty's and we all went an had a family Portrat taken for her all the grand kids Now as we are a little older!.!.!. She loved it!
