There are three men in a boat out in the middle of a lake!.
They each want to have a smoke and have 4 cigarettes
but they have no means of lighting the cigarettes!.
They each eventually succeed in enjoying smoking a cigarette!.

There is one person wearing a pair of glasses!. Since you didn't say that there was no sunshine (and assuming that they wouldn't be out in the middle of a lake in the rain!.!.) the person wearing the glasses took them off and used them to refract the sun and light one of the cigarettes using the pinpoint of light on it!. He in turn lights one of the other men's cigarettes and so on!.!.!.
