A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY ￡25!.00
SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH ￡5!.00
ON THE WAY THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT ￡5!.00 EVENLY
BETWEEN 3 MEN, SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A ￡1!.00 AND KEPT THE OTHER ￡2!.00 FOR
HIMSELF!.
THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID ￡9!.00 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL
OF ￡27!.00, ADD THE ￡2!.00 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = ￡29!.00
WHERE IS THE OTHER POUND!?

2 man only paid 8!.33 but one paid 8!.34 that = 25!.00 if the bell boy only gave thim 1 each that brings it up to 2 men now have 9!.33 & 1 guy has 9!.34 that comes to 28!.00 the last to 2!.00 was a tip!. that = 30!.00 OR IF IT WAS 30!.00 THEN 25!.00 WITH 5!.00 comming back to the men and the bellboy gave 1!.00 each that = 28!.00 and the two he gave this self = 30!.00 Www@Enter-QA@Com
As Daniel said you take the ￡2 away from the ￡27 to get the cost of the room ￡25!. Try one i used to get the kids with, i told them i had 11 fingers and to prove it i counted backwards on one hand and then forwards on the other and added the 2 results so: 10,9,8,7,6, then 1,2,3,4,5!. Hey that's weird, but i'll figure it out, i know the answer is in the change, somethings not right with the ￡3 pounds change!.!. i like it!.!. ive got one to tell ya later if i can remember it!.!.!.!.!. (edit)!.!. ive worked it out, 3 men gives 30 pounds between them for an hotel room, the room should only cost 25 pounds, the bell boy is instructed to give them back 5 pounds, instead of 5 pounds he gives them 3 pounds back and keeps 2 pounds, if you add the 3 pounds he gives back to the 3 men to the 25 pounds rather than take the 3 pounds away from the 30 pounds you'll end up with 28 pounds leaving the 2 pounds that the bell boy kept there is no remainder, 0 pounds!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
