What came first chicken or chicken egg?!

I think the egg came first because the egg could have been some sort of fossil that an animal chose to sit on or some how it got kept warm and that's how the chicken came out of it's egg!. And there could have been many more "fossil" egg things out there which is how there is so much chickens in the world!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
