hi! i have a sansa clip, a pink one 2 gig all that stuff, haha and i was just messing around with it the other night and i saw that on the settings it said "format" so i was like "okay lets just be stupid and click okay" haha and then all my songs were gone! i had like 438 songs and it toook me like forever to get them and now, they are pretty much all gone!.!.!.if ANYONE knows how i can get them back without having to download them again, or what the heck that "format" meant i would be so happy and i would give you like 37853975 points!. thank you!:)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just a good news for you, your files are actually still there, on your hard disk!. Hence they're unusable since the file allocation table is deleted!.
There are several data recovery software out there, you might want to give them a try!.
Just ask google about "data recovery software"
If you had not place any new file on your newly formatted drive, chances to recover is almost 100%!.
The more and more you place new files on the drive, chances are getting smaller
If you had several $$ to burn, your best chance is send your hard drive to onTrack Data Recovery!. They'll give your precious files back, but this one is not a cheap solution!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

sorry, i don't know what a sansa clip is, but i guess it's an mp3 player!. I don't know how it works, whether drag-and-drop like a Creative or sync like and iPod!. You'll have to do it all over again, I guess!. to FORMAT is to empty your device of all settings and files so that it will return to its original setting!. lol format means TO DELETE everything there!.they usually only use it when it has a virus!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. but you cant get it back!.
