How to measure height of tree using thermometer.?!

Question: How to measure height of tree using thermometer!.!?
Any guesses!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Drop the thermometer (from top of the tree) and find the time taken for the thermometer to reach the ground!. find height using the formula s = a + gt ( s = height, a= initial velocity=0, g=9!.8m/s, t = time taken)

This should work!. But if by the time you read this you get off the tree then let me know I will suggest an alternative!. (ok, there is another alternative at the end of this this one)

Do not Try: Do not think that you can measure yourself with the thermometer and jump of the tree to use the above formula!. :)

assumption:
1) The tree is big enough
2) The tree is not small enough that you can stand next to it and measure the height by measuring it with the suze of the thermometer and then measure the thermometer!.

======================================!.!.!.
Using a Thermometer, two individuals, and the following procedure:
Have one person ("jill") stand at the base of the tree!.
Measure jill's height in metres!.
A second person walks backwards, arm outstretched, both eyes open and holding the Thermometer, until the
Thermometer exactly 'covers' the tree!. Then, keeping the Thermometer steady, this person will measure and record the
height jill reaches on the Thermometer!.
Find out the number of jills the tree is by dividing the height of the tree, 30 cm in the Thermometer, by the
height jill comes to on the Thermometer!. This determines the ratio of jill to the tree!.
Multiply this ratio by jill’s measured height to determine the tree height!.
For example:
If jill reaches 2cm on the Thermometer, the number of jills it would take to
reach the top of the tree is 30cm ÷ 2cm = 15!.
If jill’s measured height is 1!.2m, the height of the tree is
1!.2m x 15 = 18m!.
Once several different sized trees have been measured, use your own visual judgment on the relative sizes of other trees nearby!.

iT CAN EASILY BE DONE IF IT WERE A BONSAI TREE!.

And we have a new measurement unit : instead of metres and kilometers : THERMOmeterWww@Enter-QA@Com

It just say measure height of tree, not measure height of a tree so it might not be a tree like the ones outside!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

measure a the thermometer and then see how many thermometers high the tree isWww@Enter-QA@Com

Parallax otherwise just the way you use it to measure your IQ!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i never seen a tree use a thermometer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
