Time magazine recently did a cover story on drug addiction. In the article, a graphic appears with celebrity addicts. Among them is Jimi Hendrix. No further explanation is given- it's assumed that he was an addict. Who can prove that he was.

Hendrix was the Icon for freedom in the sixties. Hendrix was also a great guitar player. Drugs were also iconic for freedom in the sixties. Does this association mean Hendrix was a drug addict. I dont really know. I can however attest to the fact that he was one of the greatest, if not the greatest, rock blues guitar players of all time.
