If someone wanted to start printing color magazines on a small scale, where could one buy machines to do this?

Have thought about places like Staples but the overhead is much too great.
I want the machines that have the ability to print letter sized color magazines.

i dont think you will find a small machine to print a small scale magazine and maintain the quality that you are looking for. if i was you i would look for a printer that can do low runs, i would suggest Publishers Marketing Association....this organizations is for self published authors and small publishing companies, as a member you can request a print quote from numerous printers at no cost.
