How early do magazines usually come out?!

How early do magazines usually come out?

I got an offer for three free issues of intendo Power about a month ago and yesterday I got my first Issue. But its the August Issue! Its the middle of june and I went to a few stores and its not out yet. Is it normal to get a magazine so far in advance?

yeah but this is nearly two months if you consider that they had to have started printing at the begining of the month. It seems strange to me, how could a magazine ever be current with what is going on if they write the whole thing nearly two months in advanced.

Yes. It's usually about a month before they hit the stands.
