Modeling?...?!

Modeling?...?

im very interested in modeling.
but i dont know if i have what it takes (as in figure, height, appearance, knowledge..like what im doing, etc)

im embarassed to tell my mom
because i know it might sound weird, but i dont want her to belike yeah right.. you know (but like not to my face, haha)

i need some advice!

such as diff agencies, characteristics of a good model, etc...

i dont have the most perfect skin.. but its not like terrible (make up...)

and im really nervous to tell my mom! haha im not really that confident with myself so i guess thats not really a plus either
idk it just sounds so fun to me but i dont like rejection:/

To be a runway model you must be a size 0-4, have a unique and beautiful look, and be at least 5'8. But since you are 5'3 and 13 I suggest you look into print modeling. Don't be embarressed to tell your mom. Just sit down and tell her it's some thing you would like to try. When your under 18 you have to have parental support. You have to learn to cope with rejection sometimes you are just not what they are looking for. You may an exceptionally gorgous and talented model but they are looking for a red head and you are blonde. You must learn not to take it personally sure you can go home and mope for a little while but then just forget about it. You may want to try a modeling school like barbizon where they can help you with modeling. Also search local modeling agencies in your area on google. Then when you find some send them your picture or attend an open call. Good Luck!
