What do you know about avenged sevenfold?

I know LOTS! lol..I don't know if you're looking for each member's personal bio but I'll try to put it all in a nutshell.

Avenged Sevenfold, a band (dur lol), formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California. M. Shadows (Matt Sanders) and Zacky Vengeance (Zach Baker) formed the band out of high school where the two boys wrote songs in guitar class. M. Shadz does vocals, The Rev (James Sullivan), who Shadz went to catholic school with, did drums. At first he didn't want to do it, but they finally convinced him since he could play drums the best. Zacky did the lead guitar until Synyster Gates (Brian Haner Jr.) joined the band after Sounding the Seventh Trumpet--their first official album (Warmness on the Sould was their EP). Although, Synyster did the guitar for To End the Rapture. Bass was played by Dameon Ash, but due to personal issues, Dameon had to take a break from being the bassist. He was replaced with Justin Sane (not of anitflag). Finally, Johnny Christ (Johnathon Seward) was introduced to the band by Zacky's little brother Matt. He then became the band's official bassist. A7X (abbreviation created by Zacky) had 3 official albums. Sounding the Seventh Trumpet [13], Waking the Fallen [12], City of Evil [11]. The band went from Goodlife Records, Hopless and now Warner Bros. Their sound changed from metal core to more of a metal sound. Many think it's because Shadows can't scream due to his vocal surgery. However, Shadows can in fact scream, but he prefers not to. Along with vocals, Shadows plays piano and ocasionally does bass. All of the members provide back up vocals, mainly Zacky and Synyster. The Rev does vocals for his side project band, Pinkly Smooth, in which he does with Synyster Gates and other members from various bands.
