Im doin my media exam fri so i kno ow ya feel. Smash Hits has been so successful coz they were 1 of a few magazines dat first introduced colour in a music mag. They were also very successful coz dey put lyrics in their mag on the top pop stars at that time. Smash Hits also carried a lot of freebees like posters of faviorite pop stars n dey appealed to their target audience of many teenagers by using slang in their magazine and giving stars nicknames. Smash Hits also allowed the readers to write in and ask silly questions to their faviourite artists
