Where do I get them?!

Question:

Where do I get them?

I'd like to publish a newspaper/newsletter, small time only because of budget constraints, where do I get press materials like stories and photos of Filipino celebrities?

Answers:

Well, it's always good to start as a reporter. If you pass a car crash or something, stop by! Ask the officers! Or maybe, you can attend courts and be the first to write an article on that. You can then send your article (filled with juicy details) to a local newspaper of your choice and if you get lucky, you might get hired. (I got acknowledged once) Or you can just go to them for a job interview. When you're hired, you can get some experience. After a few years, when you're bored, quit the job! And then along with some of your friends and colleuges, make a newspaper or magazine. I tried making one before. First step: you choose your workers. Second step: tell 'em to find stories! Third step: Ad! Ad! Ad! Advertise your newspaper and begin with a free copy for each house in the block. They might start to enjoy it and fill in the form you should've attached with your first issue. To find photos of Filipino stars, (new and original ones!) try to go anywhere! You might find the president shopping for sandals or the Secretary of Transportation sun-tanning in a beach. If that's too hard, try to send them a letter/fanmail and they will probably send you back a photo. (but mostly with a signature on it)
