Fashion Photography?
I'm a young student, hoping to enter London College of Fashion to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion photographer.
My question to you is, what do you think of fashion photography as a career?
Answers:
it's definitely a career, but like any artist (actor, fashion designer, writer) its so hard to get involved in. It's so hard to become successful and to make any money. My best friend pursued a career in fashion photography but gave it up early in the game bc of all the competition and bc she couldnt support herself...so you really really have to be dedicated to the possibility of a life as a starving artist.
but if youre good at it, I mean really good, and you have the passion then stick to it...the world needs people like you. If every artist gave up their dreams bc of the possibility of failure then we would have no amazing artists to admire...
follow your heart, and think deeply about what you really want out of life, no one but you can answer this question for you...
