What is a zine all about?
I have just started a zine today and from what i know it is basically a personal magazine. Are there rules about where you can take pictures from? i cut out some of my favorite things from magazines(the pictures not the articles) and im wondering if its okay. also what should i have for the name? its about music, fashion, and stuff like that, but its kind of an indie style. not a celeb gossip mag or anything.

Usually, if the pictures (or anything else) have a copyright, you need to ask permission from the person/magazine/whoever to use the material.
As for the name, I suggest you think of one on your own. It'll be more personal that way and will convey your own style and personality better than another persons idea would.
