How do you go about creating your own magazine?

I've always been interested in writing and I want to study magazine editing and hopefully create my own. I would welcome some useful advice.

Well, to learn by experience is good but it is better if you learn from others first. Consequently, you could avoid the pitfalls, drawbacks and several common obstacles in publishing a magazine. For a start, train your writing skill and never hesitate to ask around for opinions. This should show you what is most likely to be read or bore your readers. Next, soliciting the cost for production - thumb rule; the more the cheaper! Above all just ensure that your content is snappy plus the layout need to catch the reader eyes - at a glance!
