Can you tell me what a popular teenage pastime was in the 60's as well as a typical saturday night date?

My girlfriends and I used to go into town every Saturday afternoon. We'd follow boys from school, drink cokes and eat fries at one of the three or four hangout spots teens went to a lot. We'd buy records and teen magazines and then tape the pics all over our bedrooom walls the next day. A typical date was the movies, or a dance...sometimes a party. Hope that helps.
