How to go about writing for a magazine...?
or any publications...I am a 19 y.o female, some college experience. I want to branch off into journalism and I want to start somewhere. My goal eventually is to write for Glamour but just anywhere would be an okay spot. Any tips???

Just start writing and mail it to the publishers. Dont give up....just keep trying....at least you will get better and better each time you write. Dont expect someone to publish it right away.....just focus on writing and getting it out to the editors/publishers of your favorite magazines.
By the way...if you look carefully most magazines have the address to contact or smth like that or email ID's. Have lots of material written and you are half way through to your target.

P.S. Start local....local news papers, school news papers etc. Word -of - mouth is very powerful works like virus....viral marketing.
