Why do people buy celebrity magazines?!
Question:
Why do people buy celebrity magazines?
With all of the debate about invasion of celebrities privacy, and magazines saying if people stopped buying them, then they would stop printing the pictures, do people really buy these magazines because they are interested in the person in the photo (e.g. a reality tv star), or do the editors assume that people want to see these z list celebrities?
Answers:
People purchase these for a number of reasons. Some buy to read the stories and are obsessed with a particular star. Some buy to look at the latest fashions that the stars are really wearing. Some just want to make themselves feel better, by seeing stars in unflattering poses. Some just love gossip--celebrity or otherwise. Etc...
