Though Maxim always has a photo of a half nude woman on the cover, there is much more beyond the first page. Maxim is the monthly voice of "guy-ism". You can pick up fashion tips, dating tips, and even get news from a point of view that young adult to early adult males can relate to. With that said, there are also plenty of pictures of beautiful women throughout every issue. Though I haven't seen any nudity, I would say that I wouldn't get caught looking at this magazine while in a High School class. Any teacher would view this as inappropriate material, well maybe not the guy teachers ; )
What other magazine can relate to young males? Girls have Seventeen and Cosmopolitan for older girl. Seventeen being for the adolescent I would say that Maxim blends the two age groups together and tries to satisfy both.
