What are your opinions on magazines and how they influence children???

I'm doing a homwork project

There has been research that most women's magazines make people feel like crap - regardless of age and gender. If I had children, I'd restrict access. I think national geographic is a better choice for children or something specific to their hobbies that I'd pre-screened.
