How do I stop a Mag Sub that I did not order?
I have received two Southern Living Magazines that I did not order. After the first one the bill came. I wrote on the bill "CANCEL PLEASE! Then I put a note in the envelope explain the situation and asking them to cancel. But I still am getting it. What can I do?
Answers:
Two methods that work. First, on any bit of communication the mag sends you, or when you get anything in an envelope, don't open it. Instead, write "Deceased" in large letters, along with "Return to Sender" and drop in the mailbox.
The second method, also effective, is to send the publisher a note saying, in effect that you are sure that you didn't order the mag, but, since they are determined to send it, will they please send the Braille editions? No further comments will be required.
